Vital Emcee print progress

This is my initial sketch for the "Primal Symmetry" screen print for my buddy Vital Emcee. This is not going to be your average 4 color bullshit screen print. It is going to be a small edition print that will end up with at least 12 color runs. The idea is inspired by Vital and executed by myself. He will have a good amount of input about the direction and appearance of the print. The image is inspired by Philippe de Champaigne's painting of the Last Supper, but I have made several changes.

In the end there will be 2 editions. One will be a large print with a 23x11.5 print area on Rives BFK (really fucking nice) printmaking paper. I will only be printing 10-15 of these. The second edition will be half the size and on American Masters (still pretty nice) printmaking paper. This edition will consist of 30-50 prints. You can check here regularly for updates on the printing process. I will be posting photos of the drawing/painting process as well as the printing process. Oh yeah and if you dont know Vital Emcee, you can listen to him on his myspace page.
